At present, the raw materials for the production of spring steel wire are severely burned, decarburized, and have poor surface quality, making it difficult to meet the production requirements of high-performance spring steel wire. For enterprises, while actively developing high-performance spring steel, give full play to the potential of existing spring steel and new spring steel, such as improving production processes, adopting new technologies, adjusting components, etc., to further improve their performance and expand the scope of application .

 

In order to promote the healthy development of my country's spring steel wire industry, my country has also issued industry standards, making relevant regulations on the forming process and heat treatment process of spring steel wire. It is required that the cold drawn spring steel wire and the oil quenched and tempered spring steel wire are directly wound into the spring in the supply state, and the spring is directly used after stress relief treatment. The tensile strength of cold drawn spring steel wire is slightly higher than that of oil quenched and tempered steel wire. Springs rely on elastic deformation to absorb impact energy, so the spring steel wire does not have to have high plasticity, but at least it must have plasticity that can withstand spring forming, and sufficient toughness to withstand impact energy.

 

The "2014-2017 China Spring Steel Wire Market Survey Report" released by Shangpu Consulting shows that my country's spring steel wire has a wide range of applications, but the technology is not mature enough. Enterprises should improve the production process, tap the potential of the original steel grades, and develop new steel grades and new processes to meet the ever-increasing quality demand for high-performance spring steel wires.
